OK, yeah...it's April 1.  That post was meant for all of the
people that helped make Hockey-L a great place for
quality hockey discussion over the years.  (I believe
those years were 1989-1994. :-)
 
Yes, it was a joke.  Berenzweig, Muckalt and Turco have
NOT left the Univ of Michigan...although I'm kinda worried
about Muckalt.  Billy...if you're reading this, we love you
and want you back for your senior season.  Don't be a
Robb Gordon!
 
Ah...a joke.  Something we see very little of on Hockey-L
these days.  I often make jokes about Michigan's opposition.
Most are (a) in response to a previous posting or (b) in jest.
Not all, but most fall into the categories above.  I've gotten
some of my biggest laughs from people making fun of the
Wolverines.  I can enjoy humor at UM's expense just as
much as the next guy/Spartan/Laker/etc...as long as it's
humorous.  These days, it's no longer humorous.  I guess
there's less and less room in the world for a college hockey
humorist/satirist.  Where's John Patterson when you need him?!
(Bring back GM Finniss, too, while you're at it.)
 
My apologies to anyone who I inconvenienced (I guess
your heart stopping would be an inconvenience :-) with
my April 1 joke.  GO BLUE!
