It is true that some coaches are more 'quotable' than others.  I coverd
Warrior hockey at Merrimack College for the last three years.  Ron
Anderson is an extremely honest and straightforward coach; he says what he
thinks.  He is not given to flamboyant diatribes, only to concise
observations.  This *is* a good thing.  But I can certainly see the
attractiveness of the coaching style of a Shafer or Anzalone or Walsh at
Maine (who was an easy interview... didn't take much at all to get him to
talk... plus he liked my ties! :-)
 
But that doesn't have to interfere with being accurate or balanced.  If
the reporter in this case overexaggerated the statements Berenson made,
that shouldn't be excused just because Red isn't as *colorful* most of the
time.
