before i get a barrage of email, let me clarify something.
In my comparison of Northern Mich to Mich St, I refered to
the WCHA as a lesser league. In the same comparison, i called
teh CCHA, "the best in the nation." By English definitions, if
the CCHA is "the best" then any other league is lesser. This is
not to say the WCHA is the worst (it's probably the second best),
but lesser only as compared to the CCHA, IMO. While some
may not believe the CCHA is better than the WCHA (some have
strongly expressed that as well as, however relevant, that the
WCHA is better than the ECAC), the NC$$ Committee agrees
with me, apparently. Again, it was not intended to be a slam
on the WCHA, just a comparison between the two teams.
