I would have to disagree with the person who wrote that they "do more for
their college than most of you".  No doubt they do get free tuition, and
I'm sure that Maine athletics benefit from their talent, but hey, this is
higher education.  I think we should look at it as they are getting the
opportunities and should be grateful for that.  After all, it's not all of
us that got the chance to play a sport we loved in college and then not had
to even pay the bills.  I'm just saying that it's what the college has given
them, not the other way around.  As for playing in the Olympics, if they
can't meet the class requirements for the time thay have missed, then they
can go to summer classes.  If they can, more power to them!
