One other item in the Sporting News that I forgot to mention.  They
include Maine recruit Paul Kariya among their top 6 prospects for the
'93 NHL draft.  Given that one of Maine's incoming recruits was already a
#1 pick (one of the Ferraro brothers was the final pick of the first round
by the Rangers) it looks like the Black Bear program has reached the "we
don't rebuild, we re-load" stage.

P.S. As you may have guessed from their "rankings", you can take much of
what TSN says with a grain of salt.....this is a publication that can
barely spell hockey during the exhibition season (not the
preseason...I'm talking about the exhibition games that the NHL calls
"the regular season").
