From the Minnesota Daily this morning:
 
Three Gopher hockey players and two incoming freshmen were recently selected
to play in the U.S. Olympic Festival July 23 - Aug 1 in San Antonio, Texas.
 
The current players include goalie Jeff Moen and defensemen Charlie Wasley,
and Dan Trebil. The Gopher recruits selected to play are Nick Checco and Dan
Hendrickson.
 
All five players will be on the East squad, which will be coached by Bill
Beaney of Middlebury College of Middlebury, Vermont.
