As others have stated, the Freeze-out will have Western Michigan, not
Minnesota, joining LSSU, Princeton, and Maine.

As Mike pointed out, the HOCKEY-L archives can help with such searches.
I'll take this opportunity to explain the archives in a bit more detail
than has been done recently ...

The archives have two parts: all postings from HOCKEY-L since its
inception at its current host, and various data files of interest.

Let's start with the "data files".

To obtain a listing and short description of these files, send mail to
[log in to unmask] (Bitnet folks should mail to LISTSERV@MAINE).
In the *body* of your mail, include

   GET HOCKEY-L FILELIST

When you get the HOCKEY-l FILELIST back from LISTSERV, you will find
several files of possible interest to someone attending the Freeze-out
games. Send mail to LISTSERV and in the body include

   GET 9293HE PREVIEW
   GET 9293ROST HOCKEAST
   GET 9293ROST CCHA
   GET 9293TSCH LSSU
   GET 9293TSCH MAINE
   GET 9293TSCH PRINCETN
   GET 9293TSCH W-MICH

The "TSCH" files are team schedule files, with scores of games played
included (*Thanks* Mike!).

As Mike suggested in an earlier posting, the rosters of Minnesota and
Princeton were not in the "data files", but might be expected to be in
back HOCKEY-L postings. This is where the HOCKEY-L data base search
function comes to your rescue. For more information on data base
searches, obtain file HOCKEY-L SEARCH from the "data files", as
discussed above.

The following search and index will show you that the Minnesota roster
has indeed been posted and may be retrieved from posting #7804 using the
data base print function (see HOCKEY-L SEARCH for more information):

Search roster minnesota in hockey-l since 1 aug 1992
   Index
   Print 7804

It appears that the Princeton roster has not been posted to HOCKEY-L.

I hope this description has been useful and will encourage everyone to
use the HOCKEY-L archives!

Yours in College Hockey,

Wayne Smith
