Just some added comments onto what John has already mentioned:

I was drawn away from Ann Arbor for the Friday night Western
Michigan game (the holidays do these things...), but I was awestruck
when I cam home to find that I had missed a 10-0 massacre.
(Too bad it wasn't against LSSU--Since they drubbed us 10-0 last year)
The irony of it is that I gave my ticket to a good friend who goes
to Western... Poor kid. Having to sit and watch his team go
through that...

On the plus side of the issue, one of the stats shown during PASS's
coverage of the Saturday night game at the Palace was that 14 of the
18 Michigan players scored at least one point (goal/assist) setting
a NCAA record...

I watched the Michigan/Notre Dame game on PASS Sunday night--not
knowing the outcome. The game was relatively enjoyable, except that
I don't see Michigan doing as much hitting as I would like. It
seems that the Michigan players are afraid of taking a hit and of
giving one (except Cam "Mad Dog" Stewart, of course). If this team
wants to get anywhere, they are going to have to play at least some
physical hockey.

The only problem with watching the game on TV is that the commentary
was as bad, if not worse, as the ice at the Palace. The color man
know not was going on (kinda like the scoreboard controllers, John)
and the play-by-play man kept getting interrupted by stupid comments
from the aforementioned color guy. It Was Awful!

On a brighter note...It was good to see 18,147 people sitting in the
confines of the Palace. And I am ANXIOUSLY awaiting this weekend's
UofM/MSU home-home series.

Let's Go Blue!
Roger

(Anyone out there that can help me get tickets to the game @ Munn in
East Lansing Saturday night?)
