Three North Country hockey players were chosen in the NHL's Supplemental
Draft.
 
From Clarkson:
	Sr. Center, Dave Trombley to the Quebec Nordiques
	to-be Sr. Center, Jeff Torrey to the Montreal Canadiens
 
From St. Lawrence:
	to-be Jr. Forward, Greg Carvel to the Pittsburgh Penguins
 
I had read in the paper the other day that Scot LaChance was expected to
be picked second by Orlando in the first round of the actual draft.  There
was an article yesterday about goalie Scot LaGrand.  It said that he was
trying to decide whether to go pro or not.  If anyone wants some details
on LaGrand, just ask and I'll post them.
