For New England fans, SportsChannel will have Colgate-Cornell (it is
in Ithaca) on tape later that night (Tuesday) at 11 pm. Perhaps it
will be available elsewhere. That makes for the second half of a great
tv doubleheader, as NESN has Northeastern-BU live at 7 pm.
Also on the subject of N.E. tv games this week, Saturday's (12/1)
Merrimack at New Hampshire game has been moved up to 6:30 pm from
7 pm. Manchester, NH's WMUR-TV (channel 9) will be doing the game,
and that's public tv, so everyone has no excuse to miss it as the
Warriors try to keep their tv record perfect in 1990. If you're
going to attend the game, plan for the early start. It's bad enough
now that many fans still think the games start at 7:30 and show up
halfway through the first period. On Saturday, there will probably be
no one there when the puck is dropped.
