Wisconsin and Duluth split there big weekend showdown. Wisconsin played
maybe there best game of the year in winning Friday night 6-2. On Saturday,
Duluth came back for a 5-2 victory behind some great goaltending by
freshman Taras Lendzyk. Nice to see games without interminable penalty
delays not the games weren't very physical.
Note on the boxscores: one of the goals credited to Fairchild(Wis) on
Friday should be switched to Dan Plante. Can't remember which one.
Also, Plante(UMD) is, of course, Derek Plante and Plante(Wis) is Dan Plante.
By the way, they pronounce their names diferently. (Seriously, no :-))
