I would be happy to see Mercyhurst sponsor a regional, but the problem with

Distance is NOT the problem (motivation I$). Alaska Anchorage was the
sponsor of the NCAA Frozen Four in Anaheim, CA in 1999. This is
approximately 3500 to 3600 miles apart. Now that is motivation.
