I believe it stands for "Faculty Athletics Representatives".  And the
only reason I think that is because Charlie Shub used the term.

I have already seen it mentioned that the upcoming vote and the
uncertainty of it has hurt SLU in recruiting.  It has also been
mentioned that other schools may be using it discourage students from
going to SLU, RPI, Clarkson or CC.  Sad if it is true.
