St. Lawrence and Colgate skated to a 3-3 tie. Actually, it was a very
disappointing night for St. Lawrence. About 50 seconds into the second
period Adam Hogg was injured and was removed from the ice on a
stretcher. The radio announcers could not see what happened and there
was no penalty on the play. The crowd at Appleton fell totally silent
as he lay on the ice. SLU has all ready lost a player to a severe
back/injury this season. SLU led late in the 3rd but Colgate came back
with a goal with only 2.3 seconds left to tie it up.
