As I recall, the scoreboard shows only the second-game score... in other words,
it's being treated as a for-real second game, rather than the second half of a
120-minute game.  At least, this is how it was done the last time I saw a
total-goals series, which was a dozen years ago.
 
I'll admit that part of the reason I consider the total-goals series an even
stupider idea than the ECAC's experiment with the ten-minute minigame in their
quarterfinals is that my beloved Big Red lost in the NCAA quarters twice
despite winning the second game each time.  Have you ever seen a team hanging
its heads after a WIN??  Or conversely, whooping it up big-time after a LOSS??
 It's bizarre, to say the least.
