If staying in Detroit, I suggest going through http://www.ncaa.com/sports/m-hockey/champpage/m-hockey-div1-index.html
where at the bottom of the page you will find a link for "Where to Stay" in Detroit. I had a hotels.com reservation that I canceled because the rate at this site (which is www,tournament gold.com and is through visitDetroit.com) was much lower than available on hotels.com. I cannot complain about the price and when I had to shorten the reservation by one day, they handled it quickly and smoothly.

And as Tony said, who will be our tour director in Detroit? I vote we clone Carol White and move one of them to Detroit, Michigan, one to St. Paul, Minnesota (maybe the original can have that territory), and one to Tampa, Florida. If she does not moving around every three or so years, then we can have a tour director in every city! Now that would be a party!
