St. Lawrence got out to a 5-1 lead and then held on to beat Clarkson,
5-4.  There seemed to be everything in this game but a brawl.  There
were too many men penalties, game misconduct to Nickerson of CU for
cross checking, SLU had a goal waved off  and a charging the goalie
penalty (Saint had the puck!) and a 10 minute misconduct late in third
to LaTulippe just to name a few.  But in the end the Saints defeat their
arch rivals, the Golden Knights.  So, the Saints and Knights split the
series this year.  We will wait to see if they meet up again this season.
