The  William Carlos Williams Society, the Ezra Pound Society, and the Wallace Stevens Society will host a reception and dinner during the MLA convention, in honor of seven modernist poets born and/or educated in Pennsylvania: Gertrude Stein, Wallace
Stevens, William Carlos Williams, Ezra Pound, H.D., Marianne Moore, and James Laughlin. The dinner will be on Friday, December 29, at 7:00 P.M., in the Franklin Inn Club, 205 South Camac Street, Philadelphia.

For reservations, send a check for $60.00 for each person before November 10 (please note this deadline--I have been traveling and have been unable to forward this message previously--BH) to Emily Mitchell Wallace, 1939 Panama Street, Philadelphia,
PA 19103-6609. Please indicate on the check if you want a vegetarian or fish dinner rather than the meat entree. Drinks and hors d'oeuvres at the reception and wine at dinner are included in the $60.00.
