I took Charles Moyer's parody as an unfortunate slip -- more
unfortunate because on a Pound list -- but hardly a casus belli.
But this post *does* strike me as anti-semitic. Most of it is
simply unconstruable in the present context, but until someone
can give me a better construction I will take it as suggesting
that the presence of Jews in the Senate is somehow connected
to the disappearance (alleged) of civilizaiton in the the US.

BUT to continue. Anti-Semitism remains a dangerous social
pathology -- but it is no longer the *most* dangerous pathology,
except insofar as its continuation provides cover for what is,
*at the present time*, a much more dangerous social pathology,
support of the Israeli oppression of the Palestinian people and
the growing risk that we shall see a repeat of the "Final Solution,"
with this time Palestinians being the victims.

And of course the *most* serious social pathology in the U.S.
is the oppression of black people. The material oppression of
black people generates the pernicious ideology of racism, which
in turn supports that oppression. All other forms of ethnic
oppression in the U.S. are derivative from the oppression of
black people. And there will not be civilization in the USA
until that oppression of black people and the ideologies
consequent on it is eliminated. There has *not* been
civilization in the US.

Genocidal attacks on the Vietnamese, the Laoitians, and
(currently) the Iraqi are hardly evidence of civilization.
