I wonder if you could post something to the Pound list for me.  Pound
cited William Paterson, on obtaining the charter of the Bank of England
in 1694, "The Bank hath benefit of interest on all moneys which it
creates out of nothing."

Both Quigly and Hollis repeat this citation, but neither gives a
source.   Is the citation groundless?
