 I  dont  know  Mr Engelking  personally  ,but  certainly  I  read  his
 translations . Nr  1/1985  of  "Literarura  na  swiecie" / Literature
 in  the  World /  was  dedicated  to  Ezra's  poetry  and  essays
 and  it  is  now  a  sort  of  " a  Bible " for  poundians  in  my
 country .
 2  years  ago  in  Warsaw  was  printed  selection  of  28  cantos
 done  by  4  translators  / including  Mr  Engelking /  and  as  far  as
 I  know  last  year  he  translated  Czech  writers  into  polish .
