Dear Mr. Schmitz;
        Unless I'm mistaken, I'm the one who mentioned these two. The
Modern Long Poem byM.L. Rosenthal and Sally Gall is Oxford University
Press, 1983. The Mary Ellis Gibson Epic Reinvented is Cornell University
Press, 1995. And as long as you are ordering books, try my study, Ritual
and Experiment in Modern Poetry,St.Martins Press, 1995, the only book I
know that has chapters on
both Pound and David Jones, who has come up recently as one who wrote a
poem something like the Cantos.
