Pounds reading roots are even in Tennyson. If you get a chance, look up Bunting's comments regarding this. Bunting claimed that he and Zukofsky challenged EP's style of reading aloud and convinced him to modulate it toward a more contemporary manner.

I love listening to Pound read, especially Canto 99 and Mauberly, but also all of the other recordings I've heard (possibly all that are extant, likely more than are easy to find).
