The real issue of interlocking schedules is how far one is willing to
travel to play different teams on different nights.
Since CC and denver are only 60 miles apart, teams come do that.
Bemidji and North Dakota are about 115 miles apart. That is also reasonable
Duluth's closest neighbors are Minnesota, St. Cloud, & Bemidji (about 150 mi)
St Cloud is about 80 from minneapolis and double that from bemidji,
         and about 140 from Mankato
But....
you can't play 2 teams near fairbanks, houghton, madison, or omaha
