Dear JBS,
When I saw the Journaling class listed at Haystack, I was reminded to
send out a notice that my workshop deadline has been extended to
March 1 (workshop is in Italy in June.)
Haystack is a wonderful place to be; I have taken workshops there
before and have loved them and am tempted to participate in this one.
IF you wish to go further afield (the timing is such that you can
even do both), the details of Nature and Travel Journaling are at
this link: http://natureandtraveljournalingintuscany.blogspot.com
Date: June 16-23, 2013
Location: Spannocchia Foundation, Siena, Italy
Subjects: plants, animals and architecture
Media: graphite, marker, watercolor, colored pencils
Cost: $2475, includes workshop (3 hrs daily instruction);
accommodations (16th century Italian Villa on a nature preserve,
situated on a hilltop outside Siena, Tuscany, Italy); all meals and
wine (all produce, wine and some of the meat from the on-site organic
farm); field trips: evening programs.
No experience necessary. Spouses are welcome. Single supplement
available.
The US office for the Spannocchia Foundation is in Portland.
Feel free to call or email with any questions.
