Thank you again for a fantastic week. Wonderful field trip sites, plants, scenery, company, and Canadians were so welcoming. I am trying to stay in that graminoid id slow lane.

PS. Our JBS carpool group stopped to look for Furbish's lousewort on the way home. Looks like the high water from the 100 year flood had a significant impact on the population in St. Francis. Matt Arsenault has some photographs of the erosion along the St. John riverbanks

Travel time Bangor to Edmundston is 4 hours
Take I-95 to Houlton
Go through customs and drive to Woodstock
Take TCH-2 north to Edmundston (speed limit on TCH is 110 kph = 70 mph)
In Edmundston, take Exit 18
Go under the overpass
Go past the lights on Hebert Boulevard
Continue past the museum
Take the first left in front of KFC (PFK)
Park near St-Louis Residence
Note: If you are coming on US Route 1 and crossing the border from Madawaska, drive
toward the tall tower on the hill and up Hebert Boulevard
