Jay,
The films I'm told was "Prelude to Dog Star Man". From what my friend
gathers, Stan was very nervous, analyzing every gesture and tick the
Grand Ole Pound had during the screening. I would be similarly anxious
myself.

DC Vito,
Any idea what the films were? Was Stan there? This must have been
late
fifties, ('57?), when EP was in NYC to ship out to Italy. Must have
been
very early work. I can't help but think that Pound would have been
moved by
the energy and force of that early work. I hope and trust he would
have
seen it more in the tradition of, say, Gaudier-Brzeska ('sculptural
energy is
the mountain') than just a kinetic, rushing version of the movies he was
used
to seeing.
