Normally, I would be reticent to comment on political issues on such a
LISTSERVE, but considering Pound was an "ex-patriot" it is probably
appropriate to engage in such useless ramblings about the Palestine
issue.

My final useless comment is that I am not certain that peace can come
about in the Middle East without getting the U.S. under control in that
region of the world.  I suppose this is all I have to say about the
issue.  A few meager saplings planted within a forest of evergreens
don't get enough sun -- they quietly die.
