"EZRA POUND AND AMERICAN IDENTITY"


    The next International Pound Conference will meet in the world-famous Sun Valley Resort. Participants will visit Pound's birthplace in Hailey and Ernest Hemingway's grave in Ketchum. The program will include a Fourth of July parade, rodeo, and
fireworks display. A wide range of activities for the entire family is available.

   The conference will focus upon the American aspects of Pound's life and work, but papers on other topics will also be accepted. Proposals of 150-250 words should be sent before October 1, 2002, to Hugh Witemeyer, Department of English, University
