For the first time, the WCHA Final Five tournament at St. Paul's Xcel
Energy Center last month financially outperformed the NCAA Frozen
Four national hockey championship tournament in Albany, N.Y.,
earning $1.2 million in gross revenue to the Frozen Four's $800,000.
