Considering how destructive almost every presidential
action since the election of Carter has been, an administration
with a nearly divided congress and a president who didn't
win seems almost ideal. At the very least, it may be (a)
impossible to destroy Social Security and (b) difficult
at least to engage in excessive humanitarian bombing.
All in all about the best outcome one could have hoped
for from this election.
