Other notes of interest:

The hockey team will be taking a European tour to France to
compete in a tournament in Grenoble after Christmas. Because of
this the Terriers will play UNO in Omaha before Christmas at the
end of the first semester. BU will host Colorado College and Denver
after Thanksgiving in 2001 and will travel to Colorado to play them
after Thanksgiving in 2002.

Athletic Director Gary Strickler stated that BU will be starting a
varsity women's program in the next several years and will support
it with a full complement of scholarships. No timetable was given,
but it is likely that this will occur when the new arena is completed.
