I have been involved in Palestinian support activities for over 30
years -- but there simply cannot be any contamination of
anti-zionism with even the suspecion of the vileness of anti-semitism.
It is outrageous (and a disservice to the Palestinians) to raise this
issue on, of all places, a Pound maillist. The crimes of the Zionists
offer *no* support whatever to Pound's anti-semitism. In fact
the chief political weapon of Zionist supporters in the United
States has been the all too successful effort to equate
anti-zionism with anti-semitism. Scheetz writes like a Zionist
provocateur.
