I am trying to learn something about Juan Ramon Masoliver, an associate of Pound in Rapallo in the early 1930s. They worked together on the Supplemento Letterario of the Rapallo paper <Il Mare> in 1932-33. Masoliver, whose interests centered on surrealist poetry, seems to have returned to Barcelona by the early 1940s. I have put together a tentative bibliography (highlight: translation of Cavalcante in 1976), which I would happily send to anyone who would like to see it. Masoliver makes very few appearances in the secondary literature. Zapponi, <EP in Italia>, refers to him among the Amici di Tigullio, and Victoria Forde, in her biography of Bunting, includes a foto in which he appears with Bunting, Eugen Haas, and Manoletti (2 other Amici di Tigullio). Does anyone know anything about him? Come across any references to him? Seen any letters from/to him at Yale or elsewhere?
