yes, Wayne, & one for me, too! My modem is STONE old & slow [& will be replaced by a faster one next weekend if everything works out well], but anyway... Fortunately I haven't experencied the catastrophies Dan was mentioning. But I don't know how much machines installed in universities can take... Still I need help just IN CASE I receive a picture as attachment. I'm still helpless when I get files which obviously consist of the normal message AND the attachment. So that's ONE file in result; and I never understood how to make a readable or pic-file out of this medley of decipherable words & sentences followed by this strange hint that what comes is in MIME format. Maybe there's a Pounder out there who cd kindly tell me. alex
