RETURN OF A FORMER CAT
The Sabercats have added right winger Trevor Roenick to the roster.
Roenick most recenlty played with the Utah Grizzlies of the IHL but was
placed on waivers. Roenick began the season in Las Vegas with the
Thunder. He played 32-games there this season, picking up seven points
(3g, 4a) before being picked up by Utah. With the Grizzlies he had two
assists in 21-games.
Roenick spent 11-games as a Sabercat during the 1997-98 season,
accounting for 14-points (7g, 7a). He spent most of last season with Las
Vegas and had 26-points (14g, 12a) a year ago. Roenick is the younger
brother of NHL All-Star Jeremy Roenick of the Phoenix Coyotes.
