I think he called his usual game and with just a couple of exceptions it
was a good one.  (I'd rather he call the interference and hitting from
behind more).
 
I was quite amused once when Maine had a semi-breakaway and the puck
carrier got hauled down by a stick just under the chin.  The crowd (me
too) and players were calling for a penalty shot, but Bennedetto either
missed it or called no blood, no foul.
 
Since almost 2/3 of the penalties were called against UMass, maybe the
ref was "afraid" to call any more?  On the other hand, lots of stuff by
our guys was also ignored.  I recall one time Walsh (the skater, not the
boards-balancer) inadvertantly clunked a UMass player on the helmet with
his stick ...  play continued!  :-)
