I appreciate seeing scores in headings. If someone doesn't want to chance seeing a score in a header what is so difficult about taking it into their own hands instead of relying on so many others to accomodate them. One way would be get a separate (free) email address, such as Juno, to receive hockey-l email; then don't look at it until you are ready. One could use this method only for special situations by setting nomail/mail as needed on the main account and juno account to accomodate those situations where you will be seeing a game on tape.
