Not sure about the facts on Goehring. He went unrecruited out of HS despite
a remarkable HS career. So if Woog recruited him it must have been out of
the USHL which at that point was a little late. The point, however, is
merely that a number of good players have gotten away for any number of
reasons including the MN coaches making the wrong selections.  Thus, it has
not been proven that the Gophs can't win with in state players only.  Just
get the right players. It is hard to fault Woog, however, for losing Toby
Peterson.  That purportedly was a package deal with his brother.
