>From: D B Doucette <[log in to unmask]> >Never too early to plan, so here's a question to anyone in the LA area -- >do they allow tailgating in the parking lot of the Pond ? Hi all, I live in LA, and am a Kings season seat holder. I have already talked to Carol W about hotels for hockey-l and I am volunteering to arrange the hockey-l dinner and will try to arrange a block of rooms for hockey-l folks. All imput is welcome. Mass transit is almost non-existant in SOCAL. Everyone should plan on renting a car. Ther are several reasonably priced hotel within a 3 mile radius of the POND. Some have shuttle buses. I would not want to walk it. There are a number of restaurants within 1 mile. Several we could walk to and a couple that have shuttle to the Pond. I'll email out info soon. I am a part-time travel agent so I know how to deal with groups, but any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks-Stan HOCKEY-L is for discussion of college ice hockey; send information to [log in to unmask], The College Hockey Information List.
