Hey, I overheard today that the ECAC has decided to go to a 2-division format - the Red and the Non-Red, based on the school's colors....here's how the divisions would look: Red ------------------ Cornell Colgate RPI SLU Union Harvard Non-Red ------------------ Brown Clarkson Vermont Yale Dartmouth Princeton Hmmm....I thought Brown also had some red on their jerseys...oh well, I guess the ECAC figured most wouldn't think "red" when they think of "Brown". The league schedule will still be 22 games, twice against each opponent....the division winner with the better record will get the #1 seed, other division winner gets #2, and 3-10 are seeded ala the NHL. (And now, of course, the obligatory.....IS IT OCTOBER YET???!!!!)
