According to the AP Transactions wire for Wednesday, former Vermont stars
Martin St. Louis and Eric Perrin have signed to play for the IHL Cleveland
Lumberjacks. The 'Jacks are/were the top affiliate of the Pittsburgh
Penguins, but will receive less than full personnel support from the Pens
for 1997-98.
Not sure who drafted these two, but does this mean they're taking the IHL
route to get away from the drafting team or prove something to disbelieving
GM's (see Miami University---Kevyn Adams)?
