In case any Hockey East fans are interested, it has been confirmed that both Marty Reasoner of BC and Eric Nickulas of UNH will be returning to school next year rather than turn pro. Reasoner will be coming back for his junior year at BC and will certainly be a pre-season All Hockey East selection and will receive some pre-season votes for Hockey East Player of the Year and Hobey Baker. His rights are owned by St Louis. He has been named captain of next year's squad. Nickulas will be returning for his senior year at UNH and will also merit some of the attention mentioned above. His rights are owned by the Boston Bruins. Mark Mowers, Nickulas' teammate, will also return (unless something drastic happens, like a big free agent offer). Mowers has been named captain for next year and is a prime free agent target for NHL teams as he has not been drafted. No word yet on BU's Drury, LaCouture, Kelleher, Kealty or Poti. Best guess is LaCouture is gone to the WHL by next season while the others are up in the air. Anyone hear anything?
