        How about sending them to the East regional, as in my "plan
D"?  I think Charlie's setup is "better" than mine, but the NC$$ will
probably avoid shuffling seeds, for reasons you indicate.

        Ordinarily, I'd agree, but having rematches of two conference
championship games, each set up by the #3 seed in the region beating
the #6 seed, is pretty distasteful.
