After being outplayed by Miami for the first 2 periods, and down 3-0, MSU came back in the third period to tie it up, then won on an overtime goal by Brian Crane. Two Miami goals were scored on the powerplay. State was 0 for 4 on the powerplay. In the first game, Michigan defeated BGSU 7-2 setting up a MSU-Michigan championship game tomorrow evening. It appears that MSU was the only lower seed to win tonight. Total attendance for the 2 games was just over 15,000.
