Playing without 3 starters, Wisconsin defeated Minnesota-Duluth Friday night
6-3, in Duluth. The win continues Wisconsin's Friday night mastery, going
9-0 in the WCHA on Fridays. The loss ended a six game winning streak at home
for the Bulldogs.

Junior Brad Englehart scored a hat trick (15), Freshman T.R. Moreau added two
goals of his own (6), and Steve Reinprecht had one goal as well (8). The
Badgers were playing without Senior Darren Haley and Sophomore Tim Rothering,
both of whom were sitting out one game due to game misconducts last weekend
at North Dakota. Junior Rick Enrico has a separated shoulder, and isn't
expected to return until next weekend.

The Badgers (12-12-1 overall, 12-8-1 in the WCHA) are all alone in fifth
place with 25 points, three points out of first place. Duluth is in sixth
place (14-10-1, 11-9-1) with 23 points.

Wisconsin will try to get the Saturday night monkey off its back tonight as
they go for the road sweep before returning home to Madison next weekend.

Yours,

Terry E. Tuschen Jr.
