My prediction is Minnesota will sweep the series. Friday nites game will be close as Mich Tech will be fired up to play, but Saturday nites game will be a blowout since Minnesota has dominated most of the Saturday Nites games with Woog's ability to figure out opponents defense. Some stats: (according to UofMn Press Release) 1) Last 10 games - MN 7-2-1 2) Doug Woog is 33-7-2 (.810) in 42 career games against the Huskies 3) Opening games between the two teams have been decided by two goals or less 4) The Golden Gophers have scored first in seven of the eight games this season 5) Minnesota is 48-6-2 (.875) in the last 56 games when scoring four or more goals 6) In Saturday's game, 14 different players scored at least one point, following a pattern that has developed through the season's first four weekends. Friday's win saw nine different players collecting one point each, after 10 of 11 players who scored in the win at Wisconsin on Nov. 2 tallying one point each. The 4-3 win at UMD on Oct. 26 included all 11 players who were recognized on the scoresheet as having a single point each. Kyle 7) Peterson leads the Huskies with four goals and by scoring on 21.1 percent of his shots Peace. -- \\\\\/// / ^ _ \ ( (o) (o) ) *====oOOO=====(_)=====OOOo=======*====================================* | Kevin L.
