In the early 60s I can recall an RPI game (Bob Stagat, is my memory still correct? :-) ... that was 15-0 at midpoint of the 2nd period, versus American International College (AIC). Who knows why they scheduled us but it was year in and year out.... at any rate a huge fight broke out and almost half the RPI team was thrown out. The score ended 17-2, but it could have easily gotten to 40. In the end, the equipment manager, I think, played, as well as the third string goalie at forward, if I am not mistaken. Reminded me of one of Casey Stengel's game with the Yankees, in extra innings, he'd be down to Mickey Mantle at short (his original position in the minors) and Hank Bauer catching! Enjoy the weekend games you lucky people back East (that includes Colorado :-).... I'm waiting for the smoke to arrive here from down south in UCLA.
