MSU HOCKEY ON AUDIONET "Friday Night Hockey" schedule includes 13 games Contact: Nate Ewell (October 11, 1996) -- Selected Michigan State hockey radio broadcasts will be available live to listeners around the world thanks to a 13-game "Friday Night Hockey" schedule on Audionet. The Spartans' Friday night games (except Dec. 27) will be accessible on the World Wide Web, starting with the squad's matchup with Boston College Oct. 25. Audionet (located at http://www.audionet.com/schools/msu) will pick up the radio feed from WVFN-AM 730, with Ken Landau calling all the action. There is no charge to tune into the games or to download the necessary Real Audio software. This schedule helps Michigan State hockey stay at the forefront of internet information technology. Last year, "Friday Night Hockey" featured the first hockey game, college or pro, to be broadcast on the internet.
