From the Minnesota Scene in the Mpls Star Tribune 10/1/96: The United States Hockey Hall of Fame in Eveleth, Minn., will induct three new members on November 2: Sergio Gambucci: Native of Eveleth; coached at Cathedral High School in Crookston and at Central High in Grand Forks, N.D.; .867 winning percentage is third highest in U.S. high school history. Reed Larson: All-State player as a junior and senior at Minneapolis Roosevelt; member of the Gophers' 1976 national championship team; played 12 seasons in the NHL. Craig Patrick: helped win national titles at the University of Denver in 1968 and 1969; played eight seasons in the NHL; assistant general manager and assistant coach of the 1980 gold-medal U.S. Olympic hockey team; executive vice president and general manager of the Pittsburgh Penguins since December 1989. The annual Hockey Hall-of-Fame game will be played in Minneapolis on October 12, at the Target Center. Boston University faces Minnesota at 7 PM, in the benefit game for the Hockey Hall of Fame.
